Call for Presentations
Thank you for your interest in submitting curriculum proposals and recommendations for IGNITE: Las Vegas 2020. The conference is being held February 4-7, 2020. Your involvement in this process is critical in shaping curriculum that is of the highest quality.
Submit Your Proposal
IGNITE is an engaging conference connecting faith and vocation for development professionals serving in fundraising, nonprofit leadership, marketing, and communication roles. In 2019, attendees held such titles as: Chief Development Officer, Major Gifts Officer, Principal, Pastor, CEO, Board Member, Consultant, Annual Fund Director, Planned Giving Officer, Special Events Coordinator, Director of Marketing, and many more. IGNITE helps members and organizations achieve their goals by offering fellowship, network building, an opportunity to recharge, worship, and informative curriculum sessions. You can be a part of this exceptional educational experience by sharing your knowledge.
Please consider these points as you work on your submission:
- Attendees have a wide variety of experience levels and backgrounds. Some are just beginning in the field, while others have decades of experience, so we are looking for presenters able to speak to various levels of proficiency - both for sessions that are targeted at all attendees, and to specific experience levels.
- IGNITE organizers appreciate the perspectives that come from speakers who are practitioners that have hands-on experience regarding the topic(s) in question.
- Speakers are encouraged to involve attendees in sessions as learning through action and discussion spurs greater comprehension.
- Presentations will be prioritized based on topics listed on the form, but you may add your own topic when submitting - Please view the topics below.
- Submissions are due by April 23, 2019.
Please prepare the following items to complete your session proposal:
- Contact info (name, organization, phone, email, address, etc.)
- Your short bio - 100 words or less
- Session title and description - 100 words or less
- Whether you have made the presentation(s), including where and when
